Sudah lama nih tak nulis-nulis lagi, biasalah karena tak sempet plus lagi mandeg ide. Ide kadang datang jika kita lagi mood, tapi kalau lagi suntuk, banyak kerjaan...bah tak ada ide yang singgah di kepala.
Tapi lagu si James Blunt, You're Beautiful, bagus juga tuh buat ide kali ini.
Aku selalu terpaku kalo lihat klip-nya di TV, ku pelototi sampe abis. Soalnya iramanya yang pop rock sangat mendayu-dayu mengelitik sensor otakku, dan gaya si James Blunt yang imut saat membawakannya pun penuh ekspresi. Bener-bener dihayati. Padahal setelah ku simak syair lagunya kayaknya sih biasa-biasa aja. Bertutur tentang seseorang yang mengagumi seorang perempuan cantik yang takkan pernah dimilikinya. Admiror. Ya biasalah mengangkat tema utopis, melankolis dan kayaknya semacam broken-hearted idea lah.
Tapi meski begitu memang enak untuk di dengar, termasuk lagu-lagunya yang lain seperti All Right Tonight, Breath, Butterfly, Cause You Had a Bad Day.
James Blunt lahir pada tanggal 22 Februari 1974 di Tidworth, Wiltshire, England dengan nama asli James Hiller Blount adalah penyanyi Inggris yang debut album-nya Back to Bedlam dan single-nya You're Beutiful membuat dia menjadi terkenal sejak 2005.
Tak kusangka, lagu itu rupanya disukai Ande dan suami ku juga. Jadilah You're Beautiful itu sebagai soundtrack di PC kami. Setiap kali buka PC, James Blunt selalu mendayu-dayu.......you're beautiful, you're beautiful, lalalalalala........
